Titian Return Hose

Hey Guys,

I was priming some mdf cap and window boxes in my basement tonight and blew a hole in the return hose of my Titian 440

I donít think I can get a new one till Monday but not sure if itís safe to leave oil primer in the sprayer till then?

Unless anyone has a quick fix for it?

Thanks

Re: Titian Return Hose

It has a return hose?

Leaving oil primer in it for a day should not be an issue. Make sure the pick up is submerged.

The small hose that is used for priming and cleaning. I thought it was called the return hose.

Got it. I thought you meant off the gun. Never looked to see what it is called, my mind a primer hose.

That should be a low pressure hose, maybe a length of tubing and a couple of clamps to get you by for now?

Don't know what might cause the hole to blow - haven't heard that one...

But just a reminder that if you go to do the inner filter, mine was reverse-threaded. Wrench ordered from Grainger, from what I recall it wasn't typical. (an older 440, pre-circuit board)

I think it was just age. Itís right under the fitting that threads into the sprayer. Probably kinked and the split when I went to clean the sprayer and it relived the pressure
