Oh yeah, dude, we know. You don't have to say it.

Pump the brakes a little bit on the text talk and the exclamations. This is not the kind of job you wanna be super excitable and jumpy around.

Now, to your question:

The way we normally attack something like this is two roof jacks (look em up) secured In a line at the edge of the roof a few inches above the gutter , with a double 2x6 going across them. Then we open up a little giant or similar ladder and lay it down on the roof, butting up against the 2x6s at the bottom. Then we simply "climb" up the roof ladder and get the job done using the ladder as a work platform.

Re: Ez 4 You Complicated 4 Me Help!!!!!

Don't you guys realize, that is second story paint. It is way different than first story paint.

You need a second story paint scraper, which HD sells on the first floor, but on the second shelf of the ladder section, because it would be crazy to sell it in the paint section because second story paint isn't really paint, and you need a ladder.

It is more like a coating, so maybe you need to wear a jacket to take it off.

I dunno, this whole thing is too complicated for me.

Hopefully you can find a second story paint removal guy locally. Don't just find someone who says they can do it, because it is so way complicated, that it can barely be done by the experts.

Don't get me started on third story paint.

Hey dude,

This project is evidently way above your skil kevel.

You apparently have no concept of the means and methods required to complete this project.

Hire a painter before you get hurt.

Why are you listening to a customer?

Look up Idaho Painter on YouTube. Watch everything related for a couple weeks.

Re: Ez 4 You Complicated 4 Me Help!!!!!

I guarantee if you just put a ladder on the gutter and then turn in the pressure washer, you will immediately hit the ground.

I would probably use a set of horns to set on the roof. It will get you a more stable platform.

However, if you don't know how to repaint bare wood, you should hire a painter.

Is this your own house? If so, do whatever.

If it is a customers house, you have RRP to worry about. Can't even quote it unless you are certified.
