Bar Top Epoxy Recommendations

Its a plywood table top with a collage made from various materials. 3'-4"x6'

Which brands have you guys had success with?

Being a carpenter, I typically work with shellac and poly so I'm out of my comfort zone on this project.

My plan is to add a 1/2" thick hardwood edge banding that sticks up above the high point of the top by 1/4" or so in order to create a pool to capture the epoxy.

Check out West Systems Epoxy products. Different products for different applications.

Wedt systems kinda sucks for that application. Pro marine seems to have the best against yellowing in UV

Re: Bar Top Epoxy Recommendations

I have used the Deep Pour Epoxy Resin by River Table Epoxy before on wood tables. It is not at all cheap but pretty easy to work with (As far as epoxies go) and has held up really well.
