Anyone Familiar With This

Anyone familiar with this-image-8126608.jpg

The mat in the pool cost $600+ and I'm thinking to myself that seems ridiculous

Am I way off base? Anyone know where to buy this kind of a thing?

Seams about right for that mat. I had a couple 3x5's that were about $100 a piece. They are on the internet google shopping search will lend you the answers.

Re: Anyone Familiar With This

Pretty sure ours was just a normal rubber mat but we got it from the pool supplier, maybe chemical resistant?

Re: Anyone Familiar With This

Just realized how old this post is but have a customer looking for matting around the outside of his pool on the concrete so I found this product: https://www.commercialmatsandrubber....e-entrance-mat

I got it with backing but it says you can get it without backing which would probably work inside the pool and is very comfortable to walk on with bare feet.

For my own curiosity, how do they adhere to the pool bottom?

I'm not sure you would want to adhere anything to the bottom of the pool. It's a vinyl product so if the liner is vinyl I would think it would grip and the weight of the mat might keep it in place but not really sure. It is very soft and not abrasive so I would try using something like that over some other rigid products that could potential rip the liner.
