Sales Presentations

All,

A few questions for the retail pros out there.

What things have you incorporated into your sales presentation that make the presentation special?

What technology have you incorporated into your presentation and how do you think it has helped?

I will start!
Presentation
In our bath sales presentations, we have a sample bag that shows the various parts and pieces that that make up a portion of the work. For example, copper pipe vs pex, 1/4 turn shut off valves, tile pieces, spacers, sub floor, durock, pastic and metal bushings to show the differences etc.

Technology
Before and after pictures save on a google drive for all reps to use, Use of Ipads for videos and picture viewing, pitch books and selection options via the ipads are just a few of the uses of our technology. We also have a proprietary program in the house that is used to give anyone who can read a tape measure the ability to fully quote projects. The program also spits out a full scope of work that can be presented to the customer at the table and emailed accordingly.

Are you using anything unique?

I have not had one customer yet give two darns about any of this stuff -

For example, copper pipe vs pex, 1/4 turn shut off valves, spacers, sub floor, durock, pastic and metal bushings to show the differences etc.

Heh, yeah. Be like you as a painter showing up with plastic and drop cloth samples.

"Mrs. Jones, here's the roller frame we use and this-this little beauty right here is what we open the paint cans with."
