Rectangular Tile

Hello,
I'm new to this forum, but it looks like a great place to get info. I'm building a home for a client who wants rectangular gloss white tile in her shower and around her whirlpool. She showed me a picture from a magazine, but despite hours of searching the web, I'm coming up with very little. I have found "subway tile", which is 3" x 6", but the tiles in the picture appear to be larger, maybe 6 x 8 or so. If anyone has any information on where I can get these tiles, I would really appreciate it!

Re: Rectangular Tile

Rectangular tiles are usually a wall tile. They don't seem too hard to find as long as you are dealing with real tile suppliers and not places like Home Depot. I don't know about 6x8, usually bigger like 8 x 12s. You shouldn't have a hard time finding lots of glazed ceramic in that size.

I agree with Mike. I would send her to your supplier to pick out what she wants. The sales people will be able to help her out. Isnt that what you normally do with all the finishes?

Re: Rectangular Tile

Thanks for the replies. Yes, I usually send my clients to my suppliers to make their selections, I just hadn't ever dealt with rectangular tile, and my internet searches yielded little. So I'm glad to hear it's not hard to find. Thanks!
