Fabuwood Cabinets

Anyone have any feedback on these good or bad? I have never used them yet.

Re: Fabuwood Cabinets

Fabuwood is the worst marketing name in the business! Its not possible for a customer to be presented cabinets named Fabuwood without the red flags going up. If for no other reason, you cant consider the line. Outside of that, the publicity behind Chinese made products is not good right now. I too was presented with this line and I thought the rep was completely joking with me! the product itself seem OK at best and the pricing is cheap but in good conscience, I can't offer this to my customers.

I actually called a designer for one of my yards and told her I need to do a kitchen for a Senior citizen. I figured she took my notes and threw together a price for cheap line of cabinets to help encourage the sale. I added about 25% to cover a better product after hearing the same negative feedback. Hopefully Im covered for an Ultracraft or similar that I like.

Re: Fabuwood Cabinets

So far I have seen no specific fault other than country of origin.
Someone has said "plywood" and in most cases I assume plywood
to be better than particle board.

I'd like to hear from someone who has actually used the product
Unless I hear some specifics I'd have to hold open the possibility
that these cabinets could represent a good value

Re: Fabuwood Cabinets

I saw them yesterday at a job, they are based in Jersey city. Not bad cabinets at all. Personally I cannot stand Ultracraft way too may variations in the finish and getting replacement parts is terrible. But that may just be a local issue
