Concealed Hinge For 3/8 Lipped Cabinet Doors

I am looking for some concealed hinges for some 3/8" lipped cabinet doors going over a face frame. I called blum and they said model #71T7600N would work for my application. I will be blocking out the inside of the cabinets so that I can attach the hinge. Will this work for 1960's style cabinets with a lip? I tried using a soft close blum hinge and the lip of the door hits the cabinet face after opening about half way. Thanks for the help

I've never used it in your application, but have used them often. The hinge is the same one used on bifold doors used in 90 corner cabinets. Go to a local big box store and check out their operation on one of the displays.

You should be able to use 175H6030 mounting plates. They'll attach directly to the face frame.

Screen shot of installation on a lipped doors from Blums manual.

Thanks, ill order a couple and give them a shot. Blum also suggested using the 173H7130 bracket. Whatever bracket I end up using wont be able to attach to the edge of the face frame like most cabinets because its partially inset 3/8"

Blum makes face frame brackets with the holes offset to the rear of the face frame.

Do you by any chance know the model number of those mounting plates you speak of?

Also, would the Grass # F028138564217 work for me? Its a soft close hinge and opposed to the self closing type

The 175L6630.22 has the offset holes.

I don't know about the Grass hinge. I do know you can add the 973A7000 Blumotion module to the Blum hinge.
