Bobcat B300

I'm looking at getting a TLB. I have looked at a Bobcat B300 and a Kubota L48. From what I have read the Bobcat is a great tlb, great lifting capability(3200lbs.). The backhoe can dig to 11'. The Machine weighs in around 9100 lbs.

My main concern is the parts availability. Since Bobcat sold the units only about 4 years. Would it be better for me to get the Kubota? Can anyone give me some insights and/or real world experience. It would be most appreciated.

Thanks,
Marlin

Re: Bobcat B300

I have a Bobcat B300 and it is a tough smaller machine. the L48 kubota is not a match for it. you would do better to compare with the M59. i have had no problem getting parts for mine so far. it has rexroth controls, antonio carrerro axles and a kubota engine. it should be possible to source parts from other places. i buy my filters from the kubota tractor place already. there is rumor that bobcat only has to stock parts for 5 years after they stopped production. i think they stopped production in '06 so another year and parts will be tougher but not impossible.
good luck,

Re: Bobcat B300

Thanks tnmtn. I'm talking with a guy in NC and he seems to be leary of the B300. Claims they plagued with problems. Any comments about that? Any problems with your B300

Thanks,
Marlin
