Re: 95 Mack Dm 688s Project

I think it would look good broken up. I don't like that other truck, but I think it's because there are no ribs or anything just skin on the body.

The smooth side body makes it hard to decide, I had originally though Id do a post body to stay "old school" but after seeing the size of the rock being loaded into these new bodys without damage i was persuaded .
I guess time will tell on the durability,

wife says all black.. uggggg

Pinstripe of color down the middle of the skin? Or reverse the other truck- gray frame and black skin?

You're gonna have to go with the wife's recommendation. If you like it, great. If you don't like it, great.

We run 385's on the steering and then recap them and use them for the lift.

I just noticed you have a swing gate. We got one on our body too. Just brought the truck home today. Got some stuff to finish up before putting it on the road.

Re: 95 Mack Dm 688s Project

I just showed this to my wife who is a (no joke) color expert. She paints and is a graphic art designer. I also showed my sister who I consider to have really good design taste. Both said the all black bed. Now for the bad news. I like the all black bed too.
