Re: How Do I Make An Existing AC Unit Quieter?

Did you Try changing fan speed yet?

Is the A-Coil damaged?

Check Air pressure with 4 pieces of clear plastic tubing with a 3-4' deep 'P' trap filled with colored water, the down trap ends in the room, one end before and after the blower, one before an exit grill, the final tube set in the room as baseline elevation.

Your POCO might offer 'Free' efficiency test(s) so you could get rebates?

Call your HVAC person to fix it?

Call the Carrier help desk?

Can you move the box to crawl space or attic? 6 Ft of 200.00$/ft space....

I might be an Idiot, but I know things that You don't: Please wait till after you get my know-how to insult me....
