Open Enrollment

It's such a mess.

I went on my major carriers to view policies. In order to view quotes you have the give up consent to be contacted.
I have been bombarded all week by phone agents looking to lock you in over the phone. Anytime I requested an email for policy review to analyze first the answer was no they want to enroll you first.

Sorry but I have no idea whom I'm on the phone with to be giving credit card information to. My agent whom Carries all of my business stuff no longer deals with healthcare. Not very comfy.

As we know insurance is only as good as you can afford. What really pisses me off was one of the agents asked my age and if I was seeking coverage for family or individual coverage, when I told him proffession he asked if I was legal. Because if I was illegal there were things they could finagle. WTF.

Re: Open Enrollment

**** em I paid a lot of money for years and never used it. Last year I spent less than 500 for the year at the Dr.

I should pay 5 + a month plus a 2500 deductible. ....geez.

I know should something serious pop up it's peanuts but it's a tough one

Re: Open Enrollment

My insurance agent handles multiple carriers. They handle my WC, liability and commercial auto all through different carriers.
