Machine/Tool Name For Using Water To Bore Fence Post Holes

What's the machine/equipment called where they use water to bore holes for privacey fence posts? I've heard of them, and a guy locally has one that my sign guy seen today when buying some custom PVC privacy fence parts....said this unit was on a good size tandum axle gooseneck trailer, had 2- 500gallon tanks, 1 for water and 1 for the holding tank since as the water is jetted into the hole the slurry is vacuumed up and put into the holding tank so there is no mess left behind.

There's gotta be a name for it, I just dont know since it's not real common around here.

Might not help much but when we have had some directional boring done for us the crew would bring in what they called a "pot hole machine" or "pot hole vac" to locate utility depths. This was a big truck with a tank and could shoot high pressure water or air and vac it out. Might be a bit large for a residential application.

Just did a google search for "water/air pot hole machine" and foud this

If you find out I would like to know, never heard of anything like that.

Vermeer makes one. There are 2 residential versions. One holds about 100 gallons of sludge (good for 40 holes) and the other one is double that. They both come with a 200 ft long hose, so access may be a problem. There is also a much larger comerical version.
It works as described: it shoots an extremely high pressure jet of water which disolves the dirt, and then sucks the resulting sludge up into a holding tank.
Here in Canada the smaller one is around $30,000.oo or so.
I passed.

Its called hydro excavation. Check out the link for description and pics. I have seen this company do many of these as i was driving by.http://www.midamericadrain.com/hydro-excavation/

Same concept but on a differnt level. They use these for digging around steam lines buried near streets.

Back in the day I dated a girl named Mary Ellen Muffat. Mary Ellen Had two big tanks and we always vacuumed up after her, but she still left stains.

Anyone know who Mary Ellen Muffat is??

CORRECT! would you like to go for the next question?? If your right you will win a million but if you're wrong you get whats behind door # 2.

OK listen up please no help.
Your laying in bed with your wife watching so you want to be a millionaire, and you ask her for a little sex. She says NO. you say, is that your final answer? she says,Yes my final answer. Then you must use one of your remaining life lines and you start to call a friend. THEN THAT'S WHEN THE FIGHT BROKE OUT!!
