It's either Trex Enhance or Deckorators Tropics whatever they picked out. I'll find out Wednesday.

This is how little of this I do I let them pick out what they wanted. They insist they'll pay any extra. Well you're getting an amended agreement or a new one

I'm losing interest in this one quick

Horsechit. I've done them before. I just don't like em. The whole concept to me blows. I could have done 5/4 wood decking for damn near the same price as I'll pay for fasteners alone. But it's trendy like accent lighting and granite countertops but a PITA.

Material cost should make no difference to you. In fact when customers choose higher cost material you should make more money on the job. Once you learn the in's and out's of installing any composite decking and it's railing system it's no harder than or a pita than hardwood decks. That's from a guy who liked working with wood over manmade but, I did not like losing jobs over my personal preferences.

Customer settled for 5/4 PT on stair treads didn't want to wait on non grooved Trex.

His railing pick is a little wonky too for a match up with trex...oh well he's the customer

Every Lowes and Home Depot I've been to sells regular-non-grooved-Trex decking.

Not yours?

I don’t care about the deck, I just want to see a pic of that wad of green.

I wanna see the deck.

He complains all the time about people not knowing what they are doing...everyone is stupid, except him.

I wanna see the deck...don't care about the money.

He lives in a self-described depressed area so I'm sure the money was minimal anyway.

Re: Got A Bite On A Swimming Pool Deck

My recommendation is to only go over pool if you've got a concrete-based pool, otherwise it could be cumbersome to dismantle the deck if you've got some liner changing to do or whatelse...
