Usg Problems?

Has anyone had any problems with usg compounds as far as adhesion or surface cracking in the last 6 months?

Re: Usg Problems?

Been a while since I was going through hundreds of gallons of mud, but it seems USG always was of lower quality than a few others.. And it does seem to get worse and improve by pattern

The only other big player is national/pro form. It's been awhile since we've used much pro form but we always had problems with it shrinking a lot more than the usg does.

If it shrinks more than USG, that's pretty bad. I used some freeman last weelk and it was super smooth, no cracks or shrinking. Always been one of my faves
