Columbia Or Tapetech?

I am purchasing a new automatic taper and was wondering if any experienced users have a preference between the Columbia taper and the Tapetech?

Re: Columbia Or Tapetech?

I have 3 tubes, a Tapetech,a Drywall master, and a Columbia. I purchased the Columbia because I thought it would be better from the advertising. I can't stand the thing! I think I'm so used to running the older tubes I can't adjust the the new one. All-wall.com gives the Columbia a 5 star rating-but I think it's all in what you are used to.

Has any one tried the North Star. I am thinking of purchasing that one for a second tube

I use Columbia and I really have no issues with it at all. It is even easy to re build it and parts are easy to find.
