That's interesting. The mason who was the consultant for the bridge in my thread is Bobby Watt (RJW) who is well known around here, apparently he is also an advisor for the stone foundation as well as on the board of trustees

Bobby Watt is a great guy. Did you know he's also a well respeced folk singer in his native land? We usually get a song or two out of him in the evenings at the symposiums.

Back on topic. All I can say is if you want to meet some of the best and most interesting stonemasons, artists, sculptors,carvers, restoration masons in the world. Go to a Stone Foundation symposium.
Been going since 07, not going to make this one unfortunately.
