Calculate Cinder Block Porch Pillars


I am planning a 14' x 14' front porch constructed out of cinder block but do not know how to incorporate or calculate the cinder block porch pillars into the porch with the porch walls so i can put the supports in for covered porch Can you help me I live in Kansas City Ks 66104

Height of the column divided by the height of the block = # of the blocks needed...keep in mind that if your job location is in a 66104 zip code area you have to add 5 blocks for each column.

Nothing has been built with "cinder blocks" for 75 years or more. There is no such product available. Hire a mason.
