Block Wall Fence Leaning

Hello, we are looking at a home to purchase that we really like. The problem is that it has a block wall fence around the perimeter of the back yard, approx 300 LF, thats leaning slightly. I was wondering if thats something that can be repaired fairly easily and relatively inexpensive.
If there is any additional information that you may need for an accurate response, please let me know.
Thank you for your time.
Jerry

Re: Block Wall Fence Leaning

sounds like it is not properly built, including the required footings.

will not be a quick, easy or cheap fix.

Get a Bid from a real Mason that HAS repaired similar fence successfully, use the cost to lower your offer for the home.

get a to bid to demo the nuisance fence and replace to code....Again use the info to negotiate a fair offer.

if the fence almost had frost footings, maybe mini-pipe piles?

Re: Block Wall Fence Leaning

I provided a quote to remove a leaning brick fence a couple years ago. I don't recall if it included a new proper footing for a new wall or not.

But I did not get a call back.

Have an outfit such as AccuLevel take a look at it. Might be able to mud jack under the footings to straighten it up?
