I am glad it sold, I was very tempted to get it and I am in his backyard...no shipping. I got the 2200 first but kinda want / need the smaller 1400 also. Probably get domino first though so the 1400 will have to wait.

Got a domino your about to sell

The more I dig into this Mafell tracksaw the happier I am. Just wish I would've looked a little closer at them before a bought the ts55. Can't wait to get the rails, as easy as they are to connect together I can leave that long behemoth festool track at home.

They sure are nice tools. Just a shame there's zero dealer network and from what I heard the Mafell one ain't great to deal with when there's issues.

I know one guy on BTP had an issue with his Mafell jigsaw. They sent him a new one and a prepaid box to return the old one. Said it was amazing service.

The only tool repair that I've dealt with was festool in Indiana and it sucked ass. Also I've been talking with the Mafell dealer and They've been great to deal with. Don't understand why one place to deal with is that big a deal with Mafell and one place that deals with me with festool out of state is any different.

Re: Router OF 1400 EQ Plunge Router*

Oh yeah my experience with festool repair so far has not been great but it seems to be an exception. This is first place I heard good things about Mafell service though but I can count on one hand the times I heard that so it's very few.

There's quite a few guys over on FOG who own Mafell and most ain't got good things to say about dealing with them.

The Mafell guy said he's never once had a mt55cc come back for repair. Also he said any part he can get. I'm pretty handy, I usually fix my own tools anyway, even with a warranty, just for speed. The only exceptions are tools that need calibration, like the kapex, laser or level or something like that.
