I did a interior door hang job today. I had 3 Impulse gun cases fanned out on the floor, along with a small compressor, a 4 gun Senco kit and 2 Bosch drills.

The HO walks in, looks at the array of tools, looks at me and I say, "I don't switch fasteners, I switch tools."

Yesterday, the angled finish had 2", the straight had 2.5" and the 18 gauge had 1" brads. I had a tapered countersink in one of the drills and a #2 phillips in the other, for flipping back the top leaf and running a 2.5" screw through the jamb.

I didn't actually use the compressor or the Sencos, but I always bring backup. It was a 30 mile drive back to the garage.

Re: Impulse Nail Guns And A Veto XL

just as long as it makes you money. normally i would be buying some gear but trying to save money leading up to the surgery on the knee. been going 7 days a week for 3 weeks now . and looking around at what my next purchase will be very well could be that bosch drill or maybe the set.

the thing i dont get is how rona has the nicad 18 volt bosch drill on for $15 less than the lith ion which you bought like 17 of riz
