Re: Established Tile Contractor Website For Sale

I'm not even asking $1000 for mine and like I said, if it does not sell it's not a big deal. Some of these comments are just too funny. lmao

Re: Established Tile Contractor Website For Sale

for the funny people, why dont you price having a website built or price your time to build the site, wait months to start seeing your search rankings improve. Mine is over 30 pages of quality content, over 8 years old, 280 backlinks including multiple ehow links and consistant traffic. There are so many sources to check stats and I know what my site brings to the table. If you are not interested or dont want to give advice, why leave a comment. It would be nice to make a post without getting smart tailed comments that should not have been posted to begin with. Oh well, guess that's life.

I think you should have the best luck in selling to one of these folks as they have already seen the leads that your site has produced. Good luck.

No disrespect man. I didn't even know you could look up the value of a website. I wish you the best and I think that your valuation is very fair.

I would tend to doubt the valuations posted there. I tried a domain I use solely for a redirect, and it said it's worth $1k.

Re: Established Tile Contractor Website For Sale

Regardless of what any of the value sites say, I know my site is of some value and at this point I could care less if it sells or not. No offence offence meant towards you, but anyone with common sense knows that by checking stat sites and doing ranking searches that this site is worth at least several hundred dollars. Like I said it really does not matter if I sell it or not. I will just continue sell the leads.

I'm amazed at the # of people who can't fathom that the site has some value.

It's been made very clear, a number of times, what the op is look for/expecting. Seems pretty realistic to me.

Re: Established Tile Contractor Website For Sale

I'm not saying it doesn't hold value but it surely doesn't hold value to me.

I look at it as if I were a customer and I went to tilesite.com to hire someone (or get an estimate), the lead was sold and then abctile shows up at my house, I'm getting rid of both companies.

I haven't visited the actual site so I'm only assuming but how valuable can a site be if none of the work shown on it is anything a customer would get? Doesn't it seem the least bit shady to contact company A only to have company B show up at your house? If the site is designed as a lead service, this is all moot. However, that has not been brought up so I assume he's trying to sell a site filled with examples of his own work with his own company name. Put whatever value you want on that but I don't see much.

Yes, and no one said it was worthless.

So, what is it worth? A: What someone is willing to pay for it.

I don't think so.

It's just that post 29 seemed to imply someone stated it had no value.

Yes, you read correctly, my post was in regards to the doubting of the value of the site...which seemed pretty realistic to me.

Re: Established Tile Contractor Website For Sale

Personal/Business websites are hard to make any money on. Like Angus said, it's almost a bait and switch to a potential unsuspecting customer.

Now, if your one of the lucky few who decades ago registered Apple.com, Amazon.com, ESPN.com, etc..

Those are valuable websites. Those people became instant millionaires by either pure ingenuity or dumb luck.

I've thought long and hard about a website that could be worth holding onto, but I can't ever think of anything good.

I have an idea for one called Contractort...

Nevermind, it's already taken

Sorry, it was pretty funny him trying to stop replies! LOL
