Re: 8' X 16' Cargo Trailer For Sale....

Maybe time for some more info.....

I ordered this from Haulmark. It has an interior height of 7'8", a 12" extended tongue, side door near the front and barn doors in the back. It's rated at 10,000 lbs.

Here's the back story....
I was gung-ho on getting it customized and am about 75% there. My Mom got to the point she needed more attention and the customization slowed down. I never got the drive back to get it done and in use, so it's been sitting. At 60, my back and knee are failing me and I never know when either is going to keep me down. I do know they are acting up much more than they were even a year ago. So, in a nutshell...time to slow down a little and keep the income with lighter jobs and things I can do in my workshop.

I insulated the ceiling and the sides. It has a duo-fluorescent, cold start light fixture in the ceiling.

The left and right sides are full of custom cabinets...door and drawers; all 3/4"plywood. All the drawers are on 100 lb slides and everything that opens, locks. Counter tops were never made. There is 54" between cabinets, for the center aisle.

The trailer has probably 50 miles on it...drove it from the dealership.

It comes with a HD 12 volt deep cycle battery that has been maintained.
I bought an alarm system that has never been installed, along with a remote-controlled floodlight for the rear...never installed.
I have programmable LED's I was going to install halfway up the rear doors.
It has a 12volt converter that has been installed in an "office-type" area.
A bunch of assorted running lights...never installed.
I have a small, used, gas-powered generator that was given to me I was going to install that comes with it.

I started to wire everything for 110 but only got 25% finished.

Over the right side cabinets, there is a cabinet for fasteners...an area for brush storage and an area for wrenches.

The upper left side has tool storage and more small cabinets for...whatever.

Here are some pics.

This is centered over the right bench. The "wings" close in the center and there is paint brush storage to the left and wrench storage on the right.

Here is the wrench storage. The hanging wrenches are kept in place by 1/4" rare-earth magnets. The tools do not come with it.

This is the area under the right bench. It was planned for long stock storage and for a 6' level.

This is the left bench. I was going to insulate under the middle and put a 25 W light bulb there for storage of paints and caulks during the cold weather.

This is over the left bench. This can be taken down (as can everything) and customized to your liking.

This is the "office area" with the converter. It has a fold down space for a laptop or writing...

This is the right side bench. In the left cabinet is another cabinet that has a drawer and is lockable with a hidden compartment.

Lots more stuff I'm forgetting.

The price is $6000.00 and that is non-negotiable. It has a clear title and except for me clearing the tools out and washing it...is ready to go. I paid $6000 for it new, so all the extras are virtually "free".

I kind of hate to get rid of it but it's doing no one any good just sitting there.

I dont even need another trailer, and i am tempted at 6k. But it would take a week and 1200 in fuel to go get it.

Great trailer.

Great deal.

No interest...no down payment financing available?

Got busier taking care of my Mom.
Then, it just got further back on the burner. Now I'm slowing down and have really just lost interest.

Re: 8' X 16' Cargo Trailer For Sale....

If that had a ramp door, I'd be in the truck on the way already, even if it is a 3 day round trip.

I'm getting ready to order a custom height trailer to replace my existing set up. But tallest I can find is 7'-6"
