A Little Late?

Seems odd I'm just getting an email on this matter in my inbox today.

Re: A Little Late?

That is just the legal email notice. There have been announcements in the forum since we started the alerts about the password changes on 6/14 and there is also a huge linked notice at the top of the main page of the forum.

The colors differing from the forum content, location outside normal forum topics, all caps, implied urgency, etc. in the huge linked notice led me to assume that it was typical pop up garbage. No way I was going to click on something potentially nasty like that. Including the Data Breach Notification as a topic within the normal discussions is more credible.

And THANKS Cricket for helping me to get back on the forum!

Re: A Little Late?

I think the way you described it meant that it worked and caught people's attention.

Sometimes we'll have announcement's out but if it blends in with the forums, users will over look it.
