Am I Doing Something Wrong?

I belong to many forums and haven't had trouble like this.

I am using Firefox on a windows 10 laptop. I've cleared the cache and cookies and still having trouble.

I was going to upload an avatar picture, but can't.

My profile says I've made 2 posts, but shows the 3 that I've made.

I'm getting emails that say I have replies to posts I made, but they aren't there.

Is it me or a forum glitch?

I'll watch my email. If I can't see replies on other posts, I might not see them here.

This site is less than perfect. Send the image to a mod and they'll patch it through.

Thanks for that. My profile says I have 5 replies total now and yours is the only one I can see.

Yes, I see your post too. Some how this is the only thread I started that I can see replies in.

Re: Am I Doing Something Wrong?

You might want to try a different browser to see if that works any better. Most of the testing for this site is done with Google Chrome.

Either way, the ability to upload avatars is broken. We have no news on if/when that will be fixed.

I see that you have a total of 5 posts now. Make sure you are staying logged in to see your posts and replies to you as the cache for guests is longer than for members.

Re: Am I Doing Something Wrong?

I tried Internet Explorer. None of the entire threads I have posted in are showing there.

I'll just wait a day or two and see if it straightens up. Thanks for trying to help.

Can you let me know if this has been resolved for you?

I'll let you know, but it isn't fixed yet.

In my profile, when I click on the response I have circled in the first screenshot, I get the page shown in the second screenshot. It only shows my initial post, and it reloads over and over nonstop until I leave that page.

Note that it shows I have 2 posts when I am actually up to 7 now.

There is a cache for guest that don't update until there is a new post in a thread. Are you blocking any cookies? The reason I am asking is that I cannot replicate what you are seeing.

Sometimes recent posts can fall behind on your profile, but clicking on the link above should be showing your posts.

I'm not blocking any cookies that I know of. Right now, I still can't see the replies to this post - https://www.contractortalk.com/f44/a...ew-guy-417237/

Hopefully, that is the only page that will cause problems. Sorry for all the trouble.

Unfortunately, I am still unable to replicate this issue but I am still looking.
