Another Brand New Contractor

Greetings and thank you for having me in this community. I am just starting out with my own business after years of dwelling in a cubical. I am very excited about this new journey and glad to have found a group of people doing what I will be doing.

I am starting a nursery, and property management business, with a focus on helping people get into growing their own food. I'm. not 100% sure that by itself is viable so I'm planning to do property management as a supliment to make the business whole.

I have a ton to learn and really look forward to talking with all of you as I go forward.

Best
Glyn

Welcome to CT!

Good luck with the nursery business, it can be pretty low margins. You may want to consider something like garden design or edible landscape design. Those given you opportunities to sell your nursery stock into a volume retail project at better margins.

It is like you read my mind. That is exactly where I am headed. There is a lot to learn still though.
