Sold An Old Work Horse

Sold my old F350 it was an 88 5 spd that I had for 20 years....20 years
OMG I cant believe it was that long. If a truck could talk.
Its been sitting for quite a while now but I would take it for moving scaffolds or taking debris to the dumps. Unfortunately no one does siding work around here anymore, very seldom and if so its 10 latinos. Fiber cement get more action in new construction but there is only so much there. On the roof end its been real quiet and the same crowd installing at the same rates for 15yrs. I repair more of this kind of work than install it these days.

My dilemma is truck racks, or a cap on my other one. I still need the option of moving ladders or scaffold once in a while but hate to turn my nice truck into a "real" work truck. Was considering a back rack or single ladder rack that I can put up and down but my head tells me I am avoiding the inevitable.

Re: Sold An Old Work Horse

I've had my 97 Savanna 3500 for over 10 years. Everybody keeps asking when I'm going to sell it every time I have to work on it and I tell them never. I have my van set up exactly how I like it.

Maybe I'll sell it in 10 years.
