I know my fleet is scattered about in different threads.

Here they are in one spot.

Nice fleet, especially the dump. One thing I will always miss about working with my dad is getting to drive the dump trucks and truck/trailer rigs. Now I just have my little ranger 4x4 to ease my truck fever.

Re: Post Your Work Truck/van Thread

Good Day!
I Purchased a Used Window Van The Other Day to do my Electrical contracting work from,
I had seen another Plumbing Contractor that had the windows in the back of the van replaced with I believe it was fiberglass panels he would hit a switch on the remote and 3 of the panels would open up!
Thinking it would be easy to do mine van the same way I have had the hardest time finding this same set up looked all over the web maybe I am wording it wrong
Question..does anyone know where I can find these?
Thanks in advance!

Re: Post Your Work Truck/van Thread

No he didn't replace anything he bought it that way, I have the same van it's a big money option,

They also use cheap gaskets that shrink and leak, it's 600 to replace them so that's not the cheap part lol

You can see on my van the shadow line, they open with a key fob

Or look at the back door it will say access on it

I have pics on here with them open somewhere

Hawg.... Pretty much. It's an old school 6.2 diesel that only get's filled once a month. I'm the 2nd owner with 85k on it. Flawless runner and would hate to see it go.
Paint job indeed...? I guess. The box handles the renovation side of the business and just sits at the jobs as hub. I was going to rap it, but it's too cumbersome for city use. The small side streets low trees. I just posted it on CL for $6750 and got 3 hits in 2/days.

Re: Post Your Work Truck/van Thread

Atleast it's the diesel I automatically thought gas engine lol

We made one into a bike hauler to go to Daytona bike week, I made a walk in sleeper like a rig top and bottom bunks, we get down there and I moved a cot into the back,

My buddies were like you really giving us the beds yea have at it,

The next morning all I heard was you farting stinky ass mofo . Right then and there I knew I made the right decision.

Yea a wrap for that bad boy has got to be 4 grand , I hear ya on the trees they would wreck that quick

What are you replacing it with?

I gotta bunch of dings on the box from the trees. If it was wrapped there would be nothing left. The Van body is perfect not even a crack in the dash or a torn seat.
low top sprinter. Wrap for the box is around 3k. It's rides like a dream I really hate to see it go.

Re: Post Your Work Truck/van Thread

Thanks, I painted everything else at my house so I was brave enough to do the van,

I taught myself different techniques, I like the carbon fiber I did on my kids car as opposed to my van though

I guess I can always redo that anyway. Live and learn lol
