Picked Up A V10 F350 Today

I bought a truck at the auction today.

90k miles
4x4
v10
f350

for $7000 plus tax.

needs a few things but I'm optimistic.

Felt like I needed to tell someone, my wife doesn't seem to care

Thanks

I could try the zoom boom, it's 24'000 lb All the research I've done indicate the v10 will get around 13-14 if Im easy on it .

Which is the same as the 5.4 I have now.

Except with 360 hp instead of 260

The v10 just happened to be in the truck, Id have taken a v8 just the same.

How about one of these for the front end?

This is my favorite style, but that aluminum one is sweet.

Hugh - what year is it?

Regardless, $7000 is a great price.

Its a 2006

I need to replace 1 spring pack
and the gas pedal is unresponsive in park or neutral.

but it goes ok in drive/rev. hopefully it's a cheap fix.

Around here we have tons of deer and it protects the truck from damage when you run into them.

I could use it to "move" the diy's truck at the lumber yard. you see, it's important to park right at the door and block the lumber pile when you get 2 lb of drywall screws.

Hmmm, I just had an idea.

How cool would it be to buy an old wrecker, then go around and back up to those jack wads at the front doors?

When they come running out, as you pretend you're getting ready to hook up, tell them a crisp Benjamin will keep their POS out of impound.

I guess I'm out then. I gotta stop believing everything I read.

Not that I'd buy a supercharger anyway.

If I wanted crazy power I'd get a diesel anyway.

I actually intended to buy a diesel, but i surprised myself.
