That was the joke, he was waxing ecstatic about being the Mecca of driving in snowy weather, meanwhile he's from VA/England.

What's a Canadians favorite brand of snow tire?

Huskies...

We used to have a bunch of eye-rolling Canadian quips when I worked the gas station - but got to be PC nowadays....

How can you tell if someone is driving on Italian snow tires?

(Can't say it - not PC). My good Italian friends growing up ( I swear they were NOT sons of mob-connected Dads - yeah right) always were the first to tell us Italian ethnic jokes!

Keep in mind that's Canadian money. So that's only like $10K USD.

Re: New Truck

Bought my current truck 2006 had 6,000 miles on it for $16,000

I still may get the 2016 one for $30,000. Tempting. I'm still waiting on my knee to get cleared 100% from Doc. before I plunge into new truck.

76-$5600
78-$9000
81-$11000
88-$15000
00-used van $6000
06-$16,000

Re: New Truck

Trying to decide trade in or not to trade.
Truck is 2013 double cab 1500 4x4 Sierra
I put it over 7 years to keep the payments as low as possible.
Now 4 years to go and the truck has 144,000 km
It's due for Tires, brakes, battery feels week on cold days. Just needs some maintenance.
Or
I have been offered what I owe on a trade. Start over on 7 years @0% again. Payment will increase $100 per month and I have new truck with same options as the current truck.
Oh but the new one has built in navigation. An option I use at least twice a week.

I think it's a no brainer. But on the other hand at this rate I'm never going to get a truck paid for. Lol

Re: New Truck

Built in nav isn't worth 100 a month.... I hate every built nav I have ever used. Old clunky technology compared to stand alone units.

I wouldn't like being upside down on payments for 3 years plus.

Yea usually the technology (ie navigation) kinda sucks after some time when it becomes outdated. I prefer using my phone since it stays updated for free

It's ancient compared to what smartphones can provide.
