Re: New Trailer Build!

I agree it's a lot if space. It is ment to be mybone stop spot for any blade. Still a work in progress. I make it large enough to fit 12" blades of which I do not have a tool that requires them. I will store every blade and wheel for all tools. From grinders to Miters. And if it doesnt work out I have a free drawer that I can throw them in. Lol

Re: New Trailer Build!

Well been crazy busy with work. Officially booked solid for 3 months. For me that's really good.

Working on the electrical side of the trailer. Have enough storage as of now. Going to build a battery box and a shelf in the nose for the AIMS 3k inverter.

Re: New Trailer Build!

Definitely a vented space for the battery-battery...ditto on the invertor, plastic drip pan(s) for batteries.

Like the mouse proof wiring.

cheap printer hooked to cellphone based hotspot for change orders/ "faxes" etc on the job... flat screen monitor & full size keyboard/mouse. E-based "blue prints"

I'd think some one is making upgraded contracting trailers?

Yeah not pictured is a area for a microwave, Keurig, and printer.

Battery box is next up. Along with mounting inverter above the box

No. It was more of a inconvenience thing. I just wanted to get things ran.

Well I know wood isn't great for these batteries but it will do for the time being.

Re: New Trailer Build!

Well got the battery bank and inverter mounted. Installed another shelf above it to make better use of the area. Installed a battery voltage monitor to keep track of the % left before I have to recharge the bank. No solar yet. Just charging the bank when needed. So far this bank is completely overkill for my needs. Will be installing a microwave and Keurig later.

Re: New Trailer Build!

Yes I did move my blade storage to a drawer. Using the other spot for more power tool storage.

Re: New Trailer Build!

12 ply tires and helper air bags?

I can see SOS unloading a few thousand lbs at the local DOT highway scale.....

Might need the 15000 lb Reese hitch assembly...

Any likely hood of a B team trailer for a B team?

what would you leave out of the 2cd trailer if you ran two jobs simultaneously?

Suggest a 1/4" plus airspace around each battery for cooling, maybe an outdoor remote reading thermometer stuck in the box?
