Chev / GMC Van Side Cargo Door Issue ?

I just got a 2018 GMC Savana 2500.

The passenger side cargo door -- the one to the rear opens only 90 deg to the body.

Is there a way to open this door wider in some way ?

I think that's all mine opens too. I'll check it sometime soon.
I think it's that way on both sides.

Their should be a check strap on the edge of the door that you can move to release the door to open further.

Mike
Mike for the win !

from the owner's manual

To open the door beyond
90 degrees, close the door partially,
pull the check strap toward you and
then open the door. When the door
is closed, the check strap will
automatically re-engage.
