A fool and their 7.3 are soon parted for a 6.4.

Re: 6.4 Powerstroke

There might be issues with the one he wants to trade for, but I'd not be worried about the front end and the tailgate. The 05-07 front end swap is very common and cheap, and the headlights are miles better than the stock 99-04's. The tailgates swap from year to year all the way through, and swapping the stamped gate for an early non-stamped one is common as hell too.

161K on a 7.3 if the rest of the truck is in good shape would bring ~15K here. I don't know how much your 6.4 truck is worth, but that's close to where he should be for his. Although if I was buying, I'd knock at least 5K off his ask for that ridiculous stack in the bed...

If he doesnt come, he can fly his kite. Lol
How do you know this guy?

Re: 6.4 Powerstroke

161,000 is practically brand new. Mine had 140,000 on it when I got it. 273,000 on it now. After some minor stuff, it is back running again.

I actually like driving it just as much as the new Chevy.

At 161,000 be ready to redo the injector harness and injectors. We did the harness and two back injectors right after we got it. Pretty normal time frame.

That is also just after the tranny goes, so you are good if they are swapping in a rebuilt one.
