I use it to clear my roof, deck and small areas much more convenient than lugging my backpack blower. I also shorten the nozzle. The batteries can lose charge quickly at full constant speed but I haven't needed to change batteries before getting my chore accomplished. I carry a smaller Makita blower in my van for the jobsite.

I bought it last year . so worth it .so much easier to use then corded .used at home constantly for leaves . battery life might be less in the cold .we may use up to 6 batteries at a time . battery life is fine for me .seems to vary though .figuring battery must not be getting full charge sometimes .
great purchase . i can go right to a rental and cleanup before showing with ease .no hasel

It is odd how one drains faster than another. For example I got 2 brand new batteries, both charged on the dual charger, but on the miter saw one will always empty faster than the other..

Mark them and keep an eye on them. If one continues to be weaker make them replace it. They should run on nearly the same, they're in series.

Re: TBA Meeting 2 (Tool Buyers Anonymous)

Used it yesterday after I did the final mow of the year and cleaned up the yard a little bit. Pretty impressive power on full blast. Got about 12 min on number 4. Think
It will work out well for blowing out some gutters.

Probably the same quality as the harbor freight sets with Milwaukee paint. They sure donít look like the old Milwaukee hole hogs.

Everything I wanted was sold out. F Home Depot!

Not really many deals. I noticed on some sites they advertised $25 off Milwaukee, makita, dewalt orders over $100 but itís fake. I guess they claim itís already baked in the price or something, prices are same as always. I guess in this trump economy thereís really no reason to discount anything.

Milwaukee packout are discounted but thatís probably because theyíve been out 3 Christmasí now and nobodyís buying them much anymore and itís a limited market. Last year home depot and everyone else sold out of those right away but not this year.

Re: TBA Meeting 2 (Tool Buyers Anonymous)

Yep. Lot of multi tool combo deals, which include a drill and impact. Last thing I need is a another drill and impact. Especially since the black Friday deals usually arent on the premium models.

I did pick up this set though, for the ratchet and hackzall. The fuel versions of those two tools are too bulky for my taste.

Re: TBA Meeting 2 (Tool Buyers Anonymous)

Couple other recent purchases.

Tile drill was on clearance with bits for $150.00

Bosch sander was $25 bucks off, and it's a gen 2. Whatever that means. These were both prior to any Black Friday nonsense.

Re: TBA Meeting 2 (Tool Buyers Anonymous)

My tool supplier had buy one tool get %5 off buy 2 tools get another %5 off. I also had a valued customer coupon they sent me for %10 off. So I got %20 off some items that never go one sale.
I got the Makita 36v track saw and 2 rails that are 55inch. Also came with a 60 tooth blade free. Makita 18v drywall sander. Makita 18v router. And some vacuum floor attachments for the dust extractor.
Just got an email that I won't be seeing the sander till January. Makita is sold out .

The demand was so high last year a tool supplier sent out every employee to but 3 packout sets and fill the store and doubled the price. This year they are selling some of the boxs 2 for 1

I got hit on black Friday.

I have been wanting the cordless pole trimmer, the kit with the blower was pretty well discounted, hooked and reeled me in.

$380 delivered with a 9ah battery and a quick charger. Could not resist...
