Re: TBA Meeting 2 (Tool Buyers Anonymous)

If anybody is thinking about getting the new DeWalt light, I think it's well worth it. I think they could have included some more mounting options, but the light itself is fantastic.

I bought a coated magnet and clamp, both with 1/4 20 threaded posts. So now it can at least be stuck or clamped....

What happened?
Did the fridge light go out.....

Pretty slick upgrade, and that 1/4-20 clamp thing looks amazing

Re: TBA Meeting 2 (Tool Buyers Anonymous)

Well, the new trailer was finally finished on Friday. Getting the E-track installed so I can load up and head back to Colorado.

Ordered the Brahma lock for it.

Rance Lightning. Except for the musts, it is all aluminum. Allows me to carry more payload. This one is a 24, the one that was stolen was a 20.

https://rancealuminum.com/

After your post, I looked into the Brahma lock. Talked to them on the phone, they verified it will fit.

I was really impressed with how fast they where to get back to me. Emailed them last Friday night and the owner called me at 8:30 Monday morning. My dump trailer tires are the max size for the lock so i wanted to verify the install what correct.

Iím going all aluminum for my next cargo trailer. Mine is 6years old and is not holding up well.

I really wish I could find any sort of deal close to that in Canada right now. Really want that saw, waiting either on a free battery deal or deal on the kit.

Re: TBA Meeting 2 (Tool Buyers Anonymous)

I decided last summer I was tired of dealing with my leather Task tool belt. So in September I ordered a custom rig from Badger Tool Belts. I mulled over a lot of options and this is what I ended up with. Should be here sometime this week, unless DHL is also slow from Covid, and I'll get some pictures of it loaded up. I went with both hammer and nail bar holsters, a huge bit index, a speed square hold down (my Task belt used to throw my square anytime I was on scaffold) and a couple other nice features.

Ironically, the colour scheme I decided on is the same as the new company I started for 2 weeks ago.

I confess, I had an error in my thinking. This should have been purchased a long time ago. I have changed my ways and now am a better man....and my crew likes me for it.
