If a tool is available in a Brushless model never buy the crappy model

Makita just released a new saw with their AWS Bluetooth capability too.

Yeah, that's a pretty good rule of thumb if you use the tool regularly, for sure.

I found the AWS very limiting for Makita tools. Im waiting for dewalt vacuum that works with all tools.

Curious what you mean by very limiting? As in not enough tools available yet? I chatted with the rep and was hearing of some tools coming out with AWS like their grinder. From what I understand the AWS module can be purchased separately and the location for the module will be incorporated into many of their tools going forward. Right now Makita is the leader for cordless automatic dust extraction. I still use a cord...although I do have the Bluetooth remote for my Festool dust extractor.

I will have to check to make sure but Dewalt is working on wireless dust extractor that works with the Bluetooth batteries. AND has a mini remote that you can mount to the tool that isn't Dewalt or can just wear around wrist. If Makita came out with a small remote I would be on board. From what I've read and heard from contractors Makita does not make the most reliable vacuum and fail after warranty.
Makita release methods...
make grinder then release.
then release brushless model.
then release aws model hahaha just make one you bastards! like trying to keep up with the latest I phone,

Ya thats been the going price for a while. seems like alot but a jig saw is 200 so really isn't that outrageous. I've been doing alot of drywall lately and sick of the dust cutting walls.

Re: Share The Tool Deals (Canada)

I was just looking at the flyer. Milwaukee batteries are back to awesome November prices. I'm going to pick up the 2 for 1 5ah pack for $159 and maybe another 9ah for the same.

Yeah better than all in one big box.
The tote boxes are also really useful.
