Rolling Magnetic Sweeper

Looking for a new nail picker upper, the one I have works, but the wheels are falling off, and haven't ever been real happy with the magnet strength.

Looking for any and all input/recomendations.

Thanks
Paul

I just have the empire brand 1í wide rolling magnet. Works pretty good and itís not too bulky like some wider ones

At the risk of being ragged on for even stepping foot in a Harbor Freight....I use this one, not regular use, but it seems to be well enough made to last a good while. AND it don't cost $200.

That's the exact one that I currently own.

It does the job, but the magnet is a bit weak, the plastic is breaking out of the wheels, and I'm thinking it's to wide for anything other than super flat well manicured lawns.

I'd like to find one that has bigger wheels for rougher terrain.

I think I saw the one Mike posted at my roofing supply, I'm going to look for it next time I'm there and check it out.

I have this one also.
Works excellent.
Amazes me on what I end up catching in my driveway.

Re: Rolling Magnetic Sweeper

200 bucks is a small price to pay to keep your customers from getting a flat. My biggest issue is shavings from flashing. Don't want it getting in my customers feet or their kids and dogs.

Hey that's an idea, attach a magnet to that bad boy

I'm assuming you posted that in the wrong thread?

Absolutely wrong thread! Whoops :-)

Magnet drone, new idea! It'd mess with its electronics...
