Re: Ridgid Coil Nailer 129.00

I don't have this Ridgid coil nailer but I have a number of other tools by them (as well as Bosch, Makita, Milwaukee).

I wouldn't be afraid to buy it.

In my opinion their stuff like this is not top of the line, but for that price, I certainly wouldn't be afraid of it.

I know there are others (some of whom have already chimed in) that wouldn't touch it. That's ok. It just depends on your tool outlook!

Re: Ridgid Coil Nailer 129.00

Thanks! I don't really need it but for that price will try it and return it if it sux. I always liked my ridgid jobsite table saw and shopvac maybe this isn't so bad. I know its not a hitachi framer but I bought one of those a couple months ago for $360 from depot and though it just felt cheap for the money.

Re: Ridgid Coil Nailer 129.00

ive never seen anyone using hte rigid coil framer.. the hitachi's are what everyone uses that i know

as for the wormdrive its a wicked saw, lighter than the milwaukee. 10 x better than the craptastic dewalt which is one of the worst balanced saws ive ever held. very comparible to the makita hypoid which i own other than having to oil it

No its the good model. Not the one that lowes carries. However, I'm also comparing it to my 10 yr old senco thats a brick.

Re: Ridgid Coil Nailer 129.00

Ridgid is just a Home Depot name that they put on tools made by many different manufactures. Some are good manufactures and some are not. That vacuum is a winner and the table saw too, I don't know about the worm saw?

Re: Ridgid Coil Nailer 129.00

I bought a used Ridgid roofing nailer a few years back. Don't do a lot of roofing, but when I do it has worked perfectly fine.
