Pelican Case

I'm not making sawdust for a living anymore, so the "cool" tool purchases are pretty slim.
So, I was really having fun today when my new laptop case arrived.

<is there a geek/nerd emoticon?>

Here it is.

I love these cases.............about as tough as they come.

Re: Pelican Case

I've looked at those cases up close and they look like they come out of the same factory as the DeWalt tough boxes?

Re: Pelican Case

I've bought their gun cases and have been quite pleased with them. I carry my laptop in a Briggs and Riley and have never looked back.

Re: Pelican Case

We had to use their warranty replacement a few years ago and it could not have gone smoother. We sent in our used and damaged case and they shipped a brand new replacement out the following day.

No receipt, no questions asked.

Re: Pelican Case

I like the new ones better than the old ones for the simple reason that the new ones use the Storm case latches which are easier to open and close. Especially in the cold.

I have been Useing pelican cases for years. I consider them top shelf. I like the storm and UK cases also.

just last night I was given three hardigg cases.
one of these http://www.bmt-usa.com/3.html MM36 and two slightly smaller ones. now I just need to figure out what goes in them.

I had read about those. I might look into getting one.

I am a fan of yeti. My fishing buddy has a 420qt fish coffin that kicks ass.
