Occidental High Mount Tape Holder

Quick question before I order one, is the back where your belt goes through slotted? I want my tape right over a belt loop, the same place my bags put it. I hope the question makes sense...

It is fair to say yes. I am sure that it does not utilize Velcro to stay on!!!

Crap! I was hoping for velcro...

So I'm guessing it didn't make sense. I want to know if it has just one loop like their tool pouches, or 3 like their regular hammer loop, or the regular tape holder like I use now when I don't wear my bags...

Are you talking about the 5037 or 5137?

The 5037 has the "fold-over" or "tunnel" style loop, not slits cut in the leather. Does that help? It looks like the 5137 is made the same way, but I can't say for sure.

5037, and that's what I figured... I was hoping there were slits in the tunnel, like the sheepskin pads or something...

Now I'm wanting the 5047

I'm building a few cabinets on a buddy's job and promised him my tape holder if she decided to do the second set. And she did, so I need a new one

NICE! Always good to have a few good excuses to pick up some new tools, esp. Oxys!

Good luck with that.
