Re: Nice Commercial Mr. Warner.....

I saw this video before on this forum.

I will say three things:

1) As a NOOB to the forum; and somewhat "set in my ways", I was a little "disgruntled" with the price Festool.

...And I got scolded for it, (little bit).

2) I have watched Mr. Warner's posts:

Sarcasm, to rebuilding a "belt driven" machine from the '40....

"You are turning the wrench, in a slightly different direction"

We, as contractors, and/or "mechanics", do our fair share of maintenance, that doesn't come close to "what's going on in the shop":
As compared to the chit I've seen in "Darcy's" posts:

Old Machine Rehab.

Not for nothing, I've only heard bout this chit "amongst the older guys"

You sir, are a "true" restoration mechanic.*

Grit and gristle...

Thank you for renewing the "vigor"...

3) I now know a "celebrity" now

* This also goes out to "Prestige"...

Re: Nice Commercial Mr. Warner.....

Thanks again guys. This was sort of a secret pet project from the VP of marketing down there. From what I have been told, it turned out to be their favorite video they have made.

Funny part about the last couple lines, I believe I said that during casual conversation, not knowing the camera was rolling.

Yes, Festool takes good care of me.
