New Rafter Layout Tool


I just ordered this from England.

I have a soft spot for hand cut roofs so Iím always into seeing whatís out there.

Looks pretty cool....

But if you are talented enough to cut a bastard roof you are not likely to give up a good frame square....

Hey, you younger guys google frame square...

It's really an advanced computer, that doesn't need batteries, but it seems only FOG's know what they are and how to use them...

Iíve always used a scientific calculator or excel spreadsheet to get a cut sheet for everything. I learned the step off method for all the components. I prefer the accuracy I can calculate.

Stick framed roofs are cool.

Across the pond they use degrees not pitch. BuildCalc gives you the ability to convert pitch to depress by taping the pitch button.
