I would be interested if it took coil roofing nails.

Re: Nail Dispensing Hammer

So let's take out the nails from my battery operated framing nailer and put them in a hand held hammer I have to swing.
My self I can not ever see a need for it.

Innovative modification of "the wheel", but the motion I can see developing/advancing carpal tunnel/repetitive motion injury quicker than normal...

Good for homeowners though...

What if the nail doesn't go completely in on the first strike?

I think you've missed the concept of it. The hammer just applies a set nail and until you bang it on the front of the nose it won't set another.

Doesn't look like it fits in a tool belt well, but still, I'm sure some of these will sell.

Cool concept. Not seeing a real world use for it in my life and I go out of the way to justify buying tools.

I agree. I have bought plenty of novelty tools over the years.I have also dreamt up plenty of cool ideas with zero practical application.

Re: Nail Dispensing Hammer

I find it difficult to place nails exactly where I want them when setting them that way. I doubt that hammer would hold up to heavy use.

Re: Nail Dispensing Hammer

I'd use this when setting bracing on trusses, or when needing to set buckling sheething. What I likely wouldn't do, is always carry it in my bag; I'd need to go grab it for specific jobs.

I agree the video was bad. All I want to see is it working and he hardly used it.
