Let's see how long it takes for someone to properly identify this tool:

It's about the size of a pack of coffin nails. I know what it is.... let's see if anyone else does. :thumbsup:

Boy, this is a tough one.

Looking at the pins on the side, I would have to say it has something to do with winding or bending wires.

Is it possible that this was used when Knob and Tube was the install of the day?

That's all I got for now...who's next. :D

I don't think thats a tool. Just a part. We need more parts too know what it goes to.

Maybe a well thought out hint?

I can only come up with something to take the burs off rough metal. I have a feeling it has something to do with doors in a commercial application.
