Makita Saw Prices Used?

Well i decided to sell my makita LS1013FL now that I'm loving the kapex so much and i have noticed that these saws sell for unreal prices used!! The cheapest i can find them new is more expensive than the LS1016L

What do you guys think i should sell this saw for. I want to be fair with my pricing and don't want to rip anyone off.

How "used" is it? I'd pay $250 to $300 for that saw in decent used shape.

Pretty much not far from new. 2 years of normal use. Im sure it's got another few years left in here yet. Been blown out with compressor after every day and also greased and oiled every couple months. Sounds like $300 may be a nice saw for someone

It's a great saw for the price. If it's anything like my old makita then thats a good saw for $500.

I got 600 bucks for my 3 year old 12" bosch slider w/ a rigid stand, original box (yeah, so), and two fresh Matsush!ta blades. He may have talked me down to 550.

That was about $275 worth of blades though.

Re: Makita Saw Prices Used?

I sold my 1013 a few months ago for $250. I was nearing the end of the second set of brushes, but the old girl still had a lot of life left. Mine had the laser (almost never used), but not the light.
