Anybody using one of these Makita LS1219L miter saws?

Been using one for a few months now. I've got zero complaints. Although a few people are reporting alignment issues. I really like the dust extraction.

I have the 10". Perfect cuts, well worth it for a shop saw.

Thanks, looks to be well made with a quality look to the castings. I am not very happy with my newest model DeWalt DW716 XP castings are rough, new cord is stiff in the cold the DeWalt bean counters are ruining a good product. my biggest gripe is the fence is not square to the table and there is no adjustment for it...

You have the 12 and 10 inch? I've been looking to replace my Dewalt 12" and the Makita is at the top of the list, but as you mentioned I've also read they have alignment issues similar to the early 10" saws.
