Getting Planer Knives Sharpened In San Diego

Where can I send these to to get sharpened in my area? I usually take them to a local lumber yard, and they send them out somewhere, takes too long. Just called all the local sharpening services and none do planer knives.

What size blades, & for what? Small ones can easily be done on job site. I used to do it routinely on site for hand held planers. I've done bigger ones (12") on a table saw in the past.
The best bet though is to just buy a 2nd set while you have the other sharpened. Sometimes it's not much more just to buy the blades rather than have sharpened if you buy them right.

Joe, should be able to find a local machine shop in San Diego proper, to be able to do this. Guy I used up here in North County has since retired.
Check @woodweb.com and post over there. You might have better luck.

Contact Quinn saw, I beleive they did some of mine. Turn around is about a week from Colorado Springs including shipping time both ways.
