I've used both wings, the UG wings are faster to set up, the other are more stable. See if a local dealer has both, give them a try. If no dealer has them, you're welcome to come by here to road test both.

UG wings it is. Exactly what I needed to know. Thanks,

Our oldest daughter (and her husband) is moving to Denver from Ft. Lauderdale (she hates cold and snow) in August. They're thinking about buying a home. Keep 'em clean and sharp

Give them my contact info. My wife and I move here in 80 cold turkey! Really had no one to call on for info on where to live (or where not to), etc. Let them know you have a contact here, if they need anything!

I have the original kapex extensions, nothing else was out there when I bought my kapex.

I like them, but will probably buy the new one's some day.

Re: Festool Fan Club Thread

I made a wing using a crown stop. I like that the crown stops are very solid when cranked down. I cut the supports tight to t track so it will support itself while I drop the leg.

Thank you for the offer, I'll make sure they know. Their best friends live in Co. They are mangers of a little hotel out there, maybe you've heard of it;

http://www.stanleyhotel.com/

Our oldest one has no problem relocating, when she was 18, she decided it was to cold here, came down from her bedroom, looked at her mother and says I'm moving to Phoenix. Grabed a bag, walked out the door, called us that night from Hope Ak, the next night from Phoenix. I never worried about her, she always knew what she was doing.

She's planned this move and still hasn't taken the Co. bar exam. She just knows she'll pass it.

Once you buy one and use it, you will realize the price is not so bad.

Guy around here and wanted me to try the 6" rotex and laughed, you'll be back, then lemme try the kapex and next thing I know I'm dropping 5k for tools that WILL make a huge difference.

They're like that really hot broad in college who knew she was a knockout flashing it in front of you and getting you to spend all that money except one difference... The tools sleep with me at night.

Re: Festool Fan Club Thread

The old lady called me a few minutes ago and told me there were two packages from Festool that were on the porch.

I don't remember ordering anything, can't wait to get home.
