Festool

Knew i'd get your attention

I have two questions....Is it confirmed the makita rails work just as well with the ts55 as the normal festool ones? I can save like 50 bucks (20%) on a makita 117" rail over the festool one.

Second one of my guys broke the cover plate where the splinter guard mounts and i need a new one. I dont expect festool to warranty this, so i was wondering if anyone knew whom i should contact about getting a new one (so i dont have to send it in and be without my saw for a while).

Thanks

Re: Festool

You can find the part number on festool's usa website.

There are a few things that festool makes that won't hook to the makita rails.

Festool is have a 10% off sale on the ts saws, rails and accessories.

Re: Festool

The part number should be in the manual, I think this is it: 491730.

Just call the number on the side of the saw and ask for service department.
There are three great people that work in that department.
