Re: Cabinet Saw

For dependability, and for availability of repair parts when required, have to recommend the UNISAW. It's a lifetime investment as will last forever. This was the 220V cabinet shop standard for many years until Saw Stop made inroads recently. The Grizzly 1023 series is a respectable saw for less than half the price of a UNISAW, but the Delta has machined trunnions and is a more robust machine all around. Check Wood Magazine for cabinet saw comparison articles. Older UNISAWS in great shape are available on ebay and craigslist for $800.to 1000. and this is a very resonable price.

Powermatic and Laguna are rock solid too, but more expensive for the same performance as the Delta.
